Really bad experience with Customer Support. I tried multiple times to get an answer, but the support team is disorganized. They don’t respond quickly, and when they do, they ask the same questions again—even if I have already answered them. My emails were about making an advance payment to reduce my loan, but it seems they are not interested in receiving my money. A bad, really bad experience.

Highest interest rates in the country. Used FI for 10 years every time I changed my car the interest rates went up. Recently quoted 14%. I have just moved to a new provider at 5.9%.

Absolute awful experience dealing with them.Was advised 3 years ago by a broker to go with these, and wish I never listened. Their loan books are managed by Pepper Finance, which they conviently hide from their website.From day one, as a "non-bank" that supposedly does things differently in terms of seeing suitability for loans, that was a load of crock. They were the strictest I've ever dealt with. Analysing every little thing.In terms of communication, dreadful. You will be constantly chasing them up for answers. What takes regular banks a day or 2 to complete, can take them 1-2 weeks.Switched my mortgage to one of the big 3 banks away from these guys. Yes, my fixed rate was up and I was going to go onto one of their dreadful rates now, but my main reason for switching was I just don't trust them. I believe they will be gone from the market in a year or two and who knows who they will sell their loan book to then.Avoid.

This is one of those occasions where if it were possible to award zero stars, I would.Without doubt, this is the worst bank/lending company I have ever experienced. On the basis of my experience, I would urge avoidance of FINANCE IRELAND.Applied for green energy loan. Advised by their online eligibility checker that I would qualify and was invited to proceed to apply. Spent considerable time gathering requested documentation & loaded onto their application portal.Several days would pass, with no feedback.I happened to log-in to the portal and found out that my application had been denied.When I called I was told that this information was correct .... "sorry, and no I can't see/tell you why ... thank you, Goodbye!!"They didn't even have the decency to contact me to advise the outcome, I had to chase them.I have since secured my loan with another provider, who also offered something which FINANCE IRELAND couldn't, its called courtesy and professionalism.My advice: AVOID FINANCE IRELAND - don't waste your time like I wasted mine. Mickey-Mouse outfit.

Wouldn’t recommend them. Tried to pay off my car finance early and they wanted almost a grand extra just to pay it off early! Lady on the phone tried to catch me out because I knew that the price she was telling me was more than what was left on my finance. Wouldn’t get involved with this company again. Better off getting a loan from your bank
